Learn rock climbing skills on Independence Pass with trained and certified guides!
Join us on Saturday, October 4, 2025, partnered with Arc’teryx Aspen, for an of outdoor adventure and skill-building at the stunning on Independence Pass, with three AE guides, including Madaleine Sorkin and Jordie Karlinski! This hands-on climbing demo will introduce participants to essential techniques including harness fitting, knot tying, and belaying.
All proceeds benefit Aspen Mountain Rescue, our local Search and Rescue Group. This is a limited RSVP event which includes Arc’teryx harness demos. No prior experience is needed.
Meet at 9am at Wagner Park in downtown Aspen.
9:30am – Head up to crag
10am – 1pm – Skills & Climb
1pm – Head back to Wagner Park

Trip Itinerary
Your guide will contact you the day before at the phone number you give us to discuss an appropriate plan for you and to confirm a meeting place and start time. You will go over necessary gear to pack and meal planning.
