Indian Creek Crack Climbing Camp
$ 850.00
This 3 day and 2-night Indian Creek Crack Climbing Camp, April 22nd - 24th, is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. Under the supervision of rock guides local to the desert Southwest, you will refine your crack climbing technique at the world-class climbing location, Indian Creek.
“The Creek” as it’s affectionately known, is one of the best training grounds for learning to crack climb and refine your traditional lead climbing technique in the world. Boasting an endless amount of splitter desert cracks in a backdrop straight out of National Geographic, The Creek is sure to steal your heart. Every year during the fall and spring we migrate to Indian Creek to send the perfect sandstone walls and desert towers with our guests and on personal trips. It is truly one of our favorite places to climb.
Our Indian Creek Crack Climbing camp brings a community of people from all climbing abilities together for an immersive 3 days and 2 nights of desert climbing baptism. This program is designed to teach you proper climbing techniques and work with you on an individual level to progress beyond your current ability.
The days are full of climbing and coaching while the evenings are reserved for social time while our dedicated team prepares dinner under a sky littered with stars. After 3 days of this routine you will leave a more confident crack climber, scouring your calendar for a free weekend to come back and put what you learned to use.
This trip will be run by IFMGA / Head Guide and co- owner Amos Whiting. He has climbed hundreds of routes and dozens of towers in south East Utah since 1996. A career highlight is a red point of the classic desert big wall crack climb “Moonlight Buttress 5.12+”. In Zion National park. He loves sharing his passion for the desert with students.
$850 per person without food or $1000 per person including food.

Our Multi Pitch adventure day is the best option for those climbers who want to get off the ground and climb longer quality routes. During this day we will climb a minimum of 6 pitches and as many as you can handle in a 6-9 hr day. We will focus on transitions and moving efficiently through terrain with an appropriate progression suitable for your ability. We often can link up a number of 2-3 pitch walls like the “Grotto Wall Link”, where we climb all three Grotto Walls with routes from 3-4 pitches at a 5.9 or greater difficulty or longer single pitch routes like “El Diablo De Oro” 5.8+ difficulty in 7 pitches with amazing views of the Elk Mountains. This is a perfect way to train for larger adventures like the Black Canyon and beyond, or to just get some serious mileage on the rock with an AMGA Certified Rock Guide!
All necessary climbing gear is included (ropes, rock shoes, harness, helmet, pack). We can meet you at our shop at the Aspen Highlands Base Village or pick you up at your residence.
