Sarah MacGregor
Sarah’s most distinguishing skill is her ability to bring authentic connection into every interaction. This combined with strong mountain intelligence and almost two decades as an educator and guide – enables you to experience the mountains fully while feeling safe both physically and emotionally. From rivers, steep rocks and snowy peaks to focused skills training in snow pits, local crags and virtual webinars; she cares a lot about empowering people in the outdoors.
In the summer you might find her at a crag, on a summit or deep in the wilderness with a giant textbook on wild plants in one hand, hunched over a tiny plant wearing a giant backpack. In the winter you may know she’s nearby by the sound of excited hoots echoing through the woods when she gets a face full of powder or finds a beautiful snow grain to dork out on.
She is the first female AMGA trained splitboard guide in Colorado and actively makes it her goal to change that by elevating Women through running Women’s specific outdoor programs and workshops. She is a certified AMGA SPI, and AMGA Apprentice Mountain Guide trained in the Splitboard/Ski, Alpine and Rock disciplines. She is an AIARE Instructor, WFR, Certified Raft Guide, Yoga Teacher, a professionally trained PSIA Ski Instructor, and AASI Snowboard Instructor and is fluent in English and Spanish. There is nothing that she enjoys more than taking people into the mountains and can’t wait to help you meet your goals.
