Carly Valerious
Originally from Illinois, Carly was introduced to skiing and snowboarding at age three while visiting her sister in Salt Lake City. Eventually, Carly found her way into the backcountry in Utah’s Cottonwood canyons. Carly moved to Colorado in 2019, where she fell in love with backcountry skiing in Marble. She has been working as a ski guide with Aspen Expeditions since 2023 and also currently works as a field technician for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. In the summers, Carly usually works on small scale farms and spends the long daylight hours running on ridges. Carly now calls Carbondale home, where she enjoys splitboarding, trail running, ridge romping, mountain biking, and drawing.
