Join Aspen Expeditions for our Aspen-based Kids Rock Climbing Camp
We will be running our younger kids rock climbing camp (ages 8-11) July 27 – 31, 2026 and our older kids camp (ages 12-14) August 3 – 7, 2026. No climbing experience is required for either. We will have our Aspen Expeditions AMGA/SPI Certified Rock Guides with a maximum of 8 kids per camp.
Each day will be different from the last, where we will be working on a progression of climbing movement, tying-in properly, belay techniques and top rope safety management. We will utilize several rock climbing areas on scenic Independence Pass. Additional private days are available anytime for those kids that wish to continue honing their skills or wanting to keep up their climbing stoke! No climbing experience is required.

- All technical equipment (helmet, harness, climbing equipment, ropes, packs, etc.)
- Transportation from our office at Aspen Highlands to the rock climbing locations on Independence Pass and back to our office is included.

Trip Itinerary
These will be run Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm daily. Parents must drop kids off between 9am and 9:30am and pick them up between 3pm and 3:30pm at the latest.
Please note, we need a minimum of four kids each day to run a camp.
