Explore the Aspen-area wilderness with us on foot

We offer short day (4 hrs) or full day (6 hrs) private custom mountain hikes daily on request.  Our knowledgeable office staff and veteran mountain guides will create the ideal hike for you or your group. Located throughout the White River National Forest, Maroon Bells/Snowmass Wilderness area and high up on Independence Pass, the majority of our hikes start within 15-30 minutes from downtown Aspen. 

Just a few examples of the endless hiking destinations include: Cathedral, American, Weller, Linkin and Crater Lakes, Midway, Buckskin, Willow and East/West Maroon Passes, Pyramid Peak “amphitheater”, Lost Man Loop, Geissler Ridge (13er), Conundrum and Capitol Creek drainages and the must do Maroon Lake to Crested Butte trek (link to our CB trip). Get up high for stunning mountain views, traverse endless fields of wildflowers, keep it light and mellow, or challenge yourself with steep elevation gain.
