Carter White
Born and raised in Peak, South Carolina, Carter’s love for sports and the outdoors started at an early age. Wakeboarding, motocross, and skateboarding first captivated his attention. Surfing in Florida and snowboarding in the nearby mountains of North Carolina closely followed. His guide career started at the age of 16 in hunting and fishing while pursuing a Division 1 college football career. While football was his first love, he found climbing shortly after and never looked back.
After college, Carter made the move to Colorado where his new found love for climbing met his existing passion for snowboarding and thus his pursuit of snowboard mountaineering began. After learning about the IFMGA Certification, Carter has been in steady pursuit of the international guide certification with hopes of guiding in Europe, Asia, South America and as much of North America as he can get his hands on.
With a spirit fueled by adventure and natural curiosity, Carter has found a path in guiding that enables him to let his imagination run wild and create unforgettable experiences for those he is guiding.
