Pyramid Peak, the closest fourteen thousand foot summit to downtown Aspen, just happens to be one of the Elk ranges' most spectacular. The peak is considered a classic in terms of scenery, positioning, difficulty and history. Due to its relatively easy access from Aspen, we feel this is an excellent first "technical" peak to attempt with one of our AMGA/Trained Certified Guides. The summit of Pyramid offers some of the most spectacular views in the Elks, with the Maroon Bells right across the valley. This ascent is world-class and will award mountain adventurers a timeless memory!
