Made of lightweight Polartec® Alpha®, the first-ever breathable puffy insulation for active warmth, the AP Shirt Jacket offers a unique combination of lightweight, breathable insulation and weather resistance that makes it comfortable throughout a wide range of conditions. It can be worn as a breathable midlayer for active warmth, or as a light jacket for casual use. It's made of 60g Polartec® Alpha®, the first-ever breathable puffy insulation, developed for U.S. Special Operations Forces and now available through Strafe. Unlike down or classic synthetic fill, which require the use of "closed" fabrics, Polartec® Alpha® is a highly stable insulation that won't poke through or migrate. This allows us to create an air permeable puffy insulation package for the AP Shirt Jackt that's not a vapor barrier, rather one that breathes with you for active warmth. It also dries dramatically faster than other puffy insulations and is remarkably compressible. The AP Shirt Jacket is finished with a Polartec® NeoShell® collar, custom Strafe snap buttons, and an embroidered logo.
