Featured guests include Aspen Expeditions' Guides & Staff and local journalist, ski aficionado Tim Mutrie to discuss the differences and similarities between the interpersonal dynamics of a 'guided group'' vs. a 'peer group' going out on a backcountry ski tour.

March 18-20, 2016: AIARE LEVEL 1 AVALANCHE COURSE ... The AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Course provides a complete introduction to the avalanche phenomenon, avalanche terrain, decision making, and rescue. In a continental snowpack such as the Elk Mountains, AE's customized instruction maximizes student learning outcomes as they relate to backcountry travel.
