Day 1 - Arrive Aspen: Prior to departing on your adventure, you'll be welcomed to town by an Aspen Expeditions Mountain Host. Together we'll go through an equipment checklist and final trip preparations.
Day 2 - Acclimatization Day: On your first day in Aspen, you'll have the opportunity to go paragliding or fly-fishing, using one of these chosen activities as a means to acclimatize to the Aspen area (elevation 7,980 feet). Your acclimatization day also includes one high mountain gondola ride up Aspen Mountain and lunch at the Sundeck Restaurant (elevation 11,200 feet) where you'll enjoy amazing views of the valley's highest peaks, including the Maroon Bells.
Day 3 - Buckskin Pass to Snowmass Lake: Our journey begins with a seven-mile hike over 12,462 ft. Buckskin Pass to Snowmass Lake, where we'll camp in a gorgeous alpine setting below the imposing 14,200 ft. Snowmass Mountain.
Day 4 - Trailer Rider and Frigidair Passes: The next morning, we'll traverse Trailrider and Frigidair Passes, both over 12,000 feet. We'll meander among alpine tundra and some of the most beautiful wildflowers in the state, ending the day at the quaint mountain town of Crested Butte.That evening, we'll stay in a nice hotel and enjoy an excellent dinner out on the town.
Day 5 - Crested Butte to Aspen: After a hearty breakfast the next morning, we'll return to Aspen via West Maroon Pass (12,550 ft.) enjoying stunning views of North and South Maroon Bells.That evening we'll celebrate with a fine dining experience in downtown Aspen!
Day 6 - Depart Aspen
