Aspen Ice Climbing
Climb a Frozen Waterfall!

Overview

Just 10 minutes downvalley from Aspen is an ideal area for the first time ice climber. This nearby location is excellent for begining and intermediate ice climbing. Here we will introduce you to "two tool" ice clmbing techniques ulitizing the associated gear to climb a frozen waterfall.

For the more advanced climber we can take you to secluded multi-pitch routes near Marble or Redstone, less than one hour from Aspen. We can also take you to some of Colorado's famous ice climbs around Vail and Ouray Colorado.

Itinerary

Day of ice climbing - Meet your guide at Aspen Expeditions. After getting outfitted you will head out to the climbing area for a day of ice-tooling fun climbing a frozen waterfall!
